🦀️ PT Crab isn't back. Here's my new project.

Hey everyone,

I’ve missed you! And I’m sorry if you’ve missed me. PT Crab was wonderful, but I still think that sunsetting it was the right move. I’ve moved on to a new project that I’m really excited about and ready to share.

Alongside my normal work as a PT (and with PT Crab), I've spent the last few years both running and working with runners, as a coach and clinician. And I've learned something troubling: according to research in JOSPT, over half of injured runners reinjure within a year. Why? There's a critical gap between finishing PT and returning to full training.

That's a gap I'm here to fill with Resilience Running.

Here's how I'm helping you treat runners better

Immediate impact: Runner Treatment Resources

I've created a growing resource bundle covering everything you need to treat runners effectively: running shoe analysis, essential subjective questions (and what answers really mean), objective exam ideas for a runner eval, the best outcome measures for runners, plyometric progressions, and more. New resources are added regularly. → Access the complete bundle here

Stay Current: Monthly Running Research Updates

Remember how PT Crab kept you on top of research? I'm doing the same thing for running-specific studies. Monthly summaries of the latest findings, completely free, delivered to your inbox. → Subscribe to running research updates here

The Missing Link: Resilience Running Institute

You discharge runners who are pain-free and moving well, but then what? Most attempt to return to their previous training on their own—and that's where the reinjury happens. The Resilience Running Institute picks up where PT leaves off. We work with runners who have finished or are about to finish PT, helping them safely rebuild to full training through custom exercise progressions and running plans with personalized coaching throughout. This isn't PT—it's running coaching that builds on the foundation you've established already. I coordinate directly with you to ensure a smooth handoff, then continue advancing their program as they regain full strength and mileage.

Thanks ever again for supporting PT Crab in the past. I’m excited to help you change outcomes for runners in the future.

You can reply to this email with any thoughts or questions or just say hi. I’m always happy to hear from you.

Have a great day,
Luke

P.S. I'm keeping my patient load small initially so I can give each runner (and their PT) the attention they deserve. So if you have a patient that you think I could help, send them my way as soon as you can.
